Nothing goes better with crispy southern-fried catfish than a succulent serving of country music.
And festival goers can feast on this and much more during Kingsland, Georgia's 22nd Annual Labor Day Weekend Catfish Festival
which runs from September 4 - September 6, 2004. |
There is never an admission fee and
parking is always free, so come and enjoy a fun-filled weekend in Kingsland, Georgia!
This fun-filled festival is kicked-off on Saturday morning and the excitement continues through Monday night in historic
downtown Kingsland, Georgia.
Events include a baseball tournament, a 5k run, a 30k bicycle race, a parade, arts & crafts booths,
southern fried and Cajun catfish, a variety of food booths, antiques and collectibles and an amusement area.
Every year, the festival features FREE live entertainment by nationally known artists.
Previous year's headliners have included such stars as Lee Ann Womack, Trace Adkins, Diamond Rio, Charlie Daniels, Aaron Tippin,
Blackhawk, and Tracy Bird.
The 2004 festival's headliners have not been announced yet, so keep checking back for more updates!!!!

MARDI GRAS FESTIVAL - ST. MARYS
Held in February in downtown St. Marys. Festival includes:
New Orleans-style parade, food concessions, entertainment,
arts & crafts booths and a Mardi Gras Ball in the evening.
CRAWFISH FESTIVAL - WOODBINE
Last weekend in April at the Satilla Waterfront Park. Entertainment begins on Friday evening and continues all day Saturday.
Highlights of the festival include: children's carnival, parade, food concessions, arts & crafts booths and crawfish dinners.
INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL - ST. MARYS
Held on or around July 4th, celebrating our nation's independence. Festival includes: 5k/10k races, parade, food concessions,
entertainment, arts & crafts booths and a spectacular fireworks
display over the St. Marys River at dusk.
ROCK SHRIMP FESTIVAL - ST. MARYS
Held on the first Saturday in October. Festival includes 5k/10k races, parade, entertainment, street dance, food concessions,
arts & crafts booths and rock shrimp dinners.
OKEFENOKEE FESTIVAL - FOLKSTON
Held the second Saturday
in October around the old train depot on Main Street. Festival includes: 5k run/walk, parade,
entertainment, food concessions, arts & crafts booths and a street dance.
