Have you seen the new Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park? If you haven't you need to go check it out! The Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park was dedicated on November 11th in conjunction with the Annual Veterans Day Parade. The park is located on the corner of Highway 40 & Orange Edwards Blvd in downtown Kingsland. The park honors the memory of men and women who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. This memorial park will serve as a remembrance of the brave Americans who have fought to keep us free. The Veterans Memorial Park is being built solely with donations collected by the City of Kingsland. Donations in any amount are welcome or if you'd like to honor someone special you may purchase a 4 x 8 brick for a $50 donation. The bricks will be placed on the walkway leading through the park during Phase II of construction. Save The Date : 11-11-11 at 11 AM On November 11th, 2011 at 11 AM the City of Kingsland will be dedicating Phase II of the Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park. Construction has begun on Phase II of Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park, so mark your calendar and plan to attend the dedication ceremony!
